The event covered ‘Trading with Russia".
Two great and very qualified speakers shared with the attendees their experiences on developing their business activities in Russia.
Mr David Cant, Managing Director of Albion Overseas and Author of the best selling book "Russia market approaches", has been working in Russia since the late 80's, a wealth of experience, representing companies, directing companies and starting companies in Russia.
Mr Gary O'Grady from O'Grady Air Services has been working in Russia since 1990 in the freight fowarding sector. He started O'Grady Air Services in 1996 as he saw a gap in the russian market for this kind of service and went on to develop the company which now counts offices in Moscow and St Petersburg.

on 10th March 2008
Our first meeting took place on 10th March 6 – 8 pm at the Fareham Holiday Inn.
The Event was a real success with around 70 participants registered, most of them having to brave the horrendous British weather conditions of the last days. Plenty of networking took place on the night at the good venue that is the Holiday Inn in Fareham. A last minute speaker change meant that Mr Tom Vaso, also UK Economist with nabCapital, talked on ‘The prolonged Dollar Weakness and UK-based SMEs ’ with a wider view on the perspectives on the world Economy and where the British businesses should concentrate their efforts of Growth. Q&A followed with more networking until well after 8pm.
